Abronye Remanded in Custody for Two More Weeks

Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC, has been remanded into police custody for an additional two weeks by an Accra Circuit Court.

The court said the decision was to give prosecutors more time to advance their investigations. Abronye, who serves as the Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), was first arrested on Monday, September 8, 2025, by the Ghana Police Service. His arrest followed what police described as “offensive conduct conducive to the breach of public peace.”
