Nii Noi: Gospel Musicians Must See TGMAs as a Ministry Opportunity

Media personality and gospel music advocate Nii Noi is calling on gospel artistes to actively participate in the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) as a strategic platform to amplify their ministry and reach new audiences beyond the church.

According to Nii Noi, who is also a member of the TGMA Academy, gospel musicians must see the awards not just as a competition, but as a powerful opportunity to share the message of Christ with a wider, more diverse audience. He emphasized that embracing the TGMAs can help artists gain significant visibility, elevate their craft, and solidify their presence in Ghana’s dynamic music industry.

“The core mission of gospel music is to win souls. The TGMAs provide a national stage that gospel musicians can use to reach people they might not encounter in traditional church settings,” he stated.

Nii Noi added that increased visibility through such prestigious platforms can help gospel acts grow their influence while remaining true to their spiritual calling. He encouraged artists to pursue excellence, professionalism, and creativity as they use music to impact lives both within and outside the faith community.

The call comes as gospel music continues to gain mainstream attention, with several gospel artists receiving nominations and awards in recent TGMA editions.
