Media personality Mona Gucci has taken aim at YouTuber and content creator Kwadwo Sheldon, questioning his credibility in commenting on Ghana’s entertainment industry.
In a recent video response, Mona Gucci addressed the backlash following her controversial statement that “TikTokers are not celebrities.” She accused Sheldon of lacking the intellectual depth and expertise required to critique Ghana’s showbiz space, urging him to focus on his comedy and YouTube content.

“You are not intelligent and accredited to review anything Showbiz in Ghana,” she said. “Just stick to your comedy and YouTube content.”
According to Mona, Sheldon’s content is driven more by personal interest than informed analysis. She claimed that among industry stakeholders and influential figures, he is largely viewed as a comedian rather than a serious voice in entertainment discourse.
Mona also referenced U.S.-based Ghanaian commentator Kevin Taylor, suggesting that his frequent jabs at Sheldon stem from a similar view of the YouTuber’s intellectual capacity.
Her comments have since sparked renewed discussion online about who qualifies to speak on matters of celebrity and entertainment in Ghana.
