Mahama Swears in 15 New Envoys to Strengthen Ghana’s Global Diplomacy


President John Dramani Mahama has sworn in 15 newly appointed Ambassadors, High Commissioners, and Consul-Generals to represent Ghana across the globe.


The ceremony, held on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at the Jubilee House in Accra, forms part of government’s broader efforts to deepen diplomatic relations, advance international cooperation, and protect Ghana’s national interests abroad.


In his address, President Mahama urged the envoys to serve with integrity, patriotism, and commitment, highlighting the importance of economic diplomacy, regional peace and security, and the well-being of Ghanaians in the diaspora.
