A Volta River Aviation helicopter made an emergency landing near the Nkawkaw bypass in the Kwahu West Municipality of the Eastern Region on Monday, August 11.
According to available information, the Jet A-I aircraft, with registration number 9G-AFW, was en route from Accra to Kumasi when the incident occurred.

The pilot was forced to land due to poor visibility caused by severe weather conditions in the area. No casualties or damage have been reported.
