A phone dealer has been discovered dead beneath the Kasoa overpass in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region.
Municipal Director of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), Nash Nyande Adams, reported that the unidentified man had complained of intense stomach pains shortly before his death. He was well-known in the Kasoa area for dealing in mobile phones.
Although the exact cause of death is yet to be determined, Mr Adams said it remains uncertain whether the man may have consumed a poisonous substance.
The body has been retrieved for examination, and police have launched investigations to uncover the circumstances surrounding the incident.
