Foreign Affairs Ministry Warns Against Unauthorised Payments in Consular Services

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration has issued a strong caution to the public against making unauthorised payments or relying on unverified sources when accessing its services.

In a statement released on Monday, August 18, the Ministry reminded citizens that the submission of forged or fraudulent documents is a criminal offence and will be promptly referred to law enforcement for prosecution.

It emphasised that all official information and service updates are available exclusively on the Ministry’s official website, verified social media platforms, accredited print outlets, and electronic media. Citizens seeking consular or other related services are urged to deal only with designated officials at the Ministry or with accredited Ghana Missions abroad.
