Afia Pokua, popularly known as Vim Lady, has strongly condemned US-based Ghanaian vlogger Kelvin Taylor for resurfaced comments he made about the late highlife legend, Daddy Lumba.
In a video circulating online, an emotional Vim Lady expressed outrage, declaring that Taylor wouldn’t live to reach even 40 years of age—far less the 60 years Lumba attained. Her outburst follows the reemergence of an old clip in which Taylor criticized and made death wishes toward the iconic musician.
In the controversial footage, Taylor accused Daddy Lumba of misleading Ghanaian youth with his love songs, especially during election periods. He also claimed the legendary singer had made no real contribution to national development.
Vim Lady, clearly incensed by the comments, condemned the vlogger’s remarks as disrespectful and unacceptable. She warned that dishonoring national icons like Daddy Lumba would not be without consequences, emphasizing that such behavior must be called out.
