The Ghana Police Service has arrested a man, identified as Osei Kwame—popularly known as “Nsafufoo”—for unlawfully wearing a police uniform without proper authorisation.
His arrest followed the circulation of a viral video showing him appearing visibly intoxicated while fully dressed in official police attire. The footage sparked public outrage and led to swift action by the police.

The incident occurred in Antoakrom, located in the Manso Nkwanta District of the Ashanti Region. Police officials confirmed that Osei Kwame is currently in custody and assisting with ongoing investigations.
In a statement, the Ghana Police Service reaffirmed its commitment to protecting the dignity and authority of the police uniform. It also issued a strong warning to the public against impersonating law enforcement officers or misusing official police clothing, noting that such actions are criminal and will be prosecuted.
