Renowned Ghanaian gospel artist Piesie Esther has advised upcoming and aspiring gospel musicians to brace themselves for the challenges of the music industry.
In an interview with Joy Prime’s Roselyn Felli on Changes, the Mo hitmaker stressed that resilience and a deep reverence for God are essential traits for survival in the gospel music space.
“In this industry, you need to be tough and hold firmly to God. When you follow His will, He provides for your needs. But if you don’t toughen yourself in this workspace, you won’t be able to survive,” she noted.

With over two decades of experience, Piesie Esther reflected on her own journey, marked by both triumphs and controversies, yet underscored the importance of determination.
“I’ve gone through a lot, but God has brought us this far. Sometimes, people’s attitudes can make you feel unwanted. But when you know where you’re headed, you won’t allow anyone to derail your focus,” she explained.
She encouraged budding gospel musicians to remain steadfast, stay connected to God, and trust that persistence will eventually bring success.
