The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has referred its Bono Regional Chairman, Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC, to the party’s National Disciplinary Committee for alleged misconduct.
In a petition filed by General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, the party accused Abronye DC of engaging in actions deemed inappropriate and harmful to the unity and image of the NPP.

Among the allegations are defamatory comments against Assin Central MP Kennedy Agyapong, false claims that the General Secretary withheld a report recommending Mr. Agyapong’s expulsion, and the misrepresentation of findings from the party’s disciplinary committee.
The petition requests a full investigation into the matter and the application of necessary sanctions, stressing that discipline and accountability remain vital to protecting the NPP’s credibility and democratic principles.
