The Adabraka District Court has adjourned the case involving the murder of Immigration Officer Stephen King Amoah to October 9, 2025.
At Thursday’s hearing, September 4, prosecutors informed the court that the Ghana Police Service required additional time and specialised equipment to advance their investigations. They noted that a court order had been secured to support the process and requested that the suspects, Bright Aweh and Thomas Ziggah, remain in custody.
Defence counsel, Gordon Aboagye, raised concerns about the conditions under which the accused persons are being held. He argued that, in line with democratic principles, their families should be informed of their whereabouts to allow visitation.

Mr. Aboagye also expressed sympathy to the bereaved family and urged them to remain calm as the judicial process unfolds. The court, in response, assured the family of the late officer that justice would be served and encouraged them to exercise patience.
