Well-known Nigerian entertainer, Jim Iyke, has portrayed reggae dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, as a showbusiness astute individual. 

As per him, the Ghanaian artiste's capacity to assume control over patterns with his jokes is admirable.

 


Talking on Joy FM's Cosmopolitan Mix Thursday, the entertainer conceived James Ikechukwu Esomugha said one should be deliberately situated to make it in media outlets. 

"I think Shatta simply gets up toward the beginning of the day and chooses what am I going to do to incite individuals' musings? He will go like Jim Iyke appears as though me. He will get up tomorrow and say; I need to be President of Ghana. 

"He won't be president and we as a whole realize that however Shatta will go there and rush to be President and simply get you folks to discuss him. He comprehends the penchant of the business," he said.

The Ace Actor offered these remarks in response to a web-based media post Shatta Wale made, proposing that he looks like Jim Iyke.

Remarking on the turn of events, Mr. Iyke said the post is generally "complimenting" and accepts that the 'I know my level' hitmaker intentionally made up those presents to stay significant in the business. 

He also revealed that he first met Shatta Wale at an airport in Maryland, and they had a quick conversation and dashed off to catch their respective flights. Meanwhile, the philanthropist and businessman shared nuggets he believes could help turn Ghana’s movie industry around.

He said Ghana’s movie industry needs shared will by filmmakers, creators, and other stakeholders to turn things around.

The Nollywood star thinks “the laid-back approach that Ghanaians have towards the industry” cannot be overlooked in assessing the cause of the decline.

Jim Iyke is in Ghana to premiere his latest movie, ‘Bad Comments’, on Saturday, October 2, at the Silverbird Cinemas in Accra. 

Patience Ozokwor, Ini Edo, Osas Ighodaro, Sharon Ooja, and Timaya all starred in the movie.
