Amenze Rita, a 31-year-old Nigerian woman, was allegedly shot dead by her husband in Italy.
Amenze was killed in front of her coworkers on Friday morning, September 10, in the parking lot of Mf Mushroom, a company where she worked.
According to reports, the suspect, Pierangelo Pellizzar, 61, ambushed the deceased around 7:30 a.m. and shot her four times, killing her instantly.
After killing Amenze, he allegedly fled the scene in a grey Cherokee Jeep, which was later discovered abandoned at his brother’s house.
The carabinieri, on the other hand, is currently on the lookout for the suspect, who is said to be armed and dangerous.
According to Italian media, Amenze was killed because she filed for divorce after returning from Nigeria a week ago.
It was also learned that late Amenze arrived in Italy via Libya in 2017 and married an Italian man in 2018.
