Stop the ‘too known’ attitude – Fred Agbenyo to Jean Mensa

” You just started doing this work; some of us have been there longer than you; we understand the work better than you; we have a better understanding of the terrain more than you and so if you don’t want to take advise, it means you are preparing the grounds for what nobody wants,” a member of the Communication team of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Fred Agbenyo said on Peace FM.

This comment is in reaction to a decision by the Electoral Commission to compile a new voter’s register ahead of the 2020 elections.

If you may recall, the EC announced that it would compile a new register after an Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting held in March 2019.

However, the NDC disagreed with this decision insisting there is nothing wrong with the current register.

Fred Agbenyo who was contributing to a panel discussion on Peace FM’s morning show ‘Kokrokoo’ queried, “why the need for a new register? Will you allow for this if it was your money being used? Why fix it if it is not broken and why the ‘Agyeman attitude’. When did you start this work . . . others have been there before you”.
