The body of a KDF officer was found in his house on Monday, December 17, after neighbours alerted the police to a foul stench emanating from his house.
According to Likoni OCPD Jane Munywoki, the soldier (Abraham Kipchirchir) had been missing from work since Saturday, December 14.
His fellow officers claimed to have tried to inquire about his whereabouts but his phone was switched off.
The police were left puzzled as to the cause of his death, with initial reports claiming that his body was found with no physical injuries
