A 26-year-old rancher at Onyinafonso, a suburb of Asamankese in the Eastern district has been condemned to four years detainment for hurting a partner rancher, Joseph Kwaku Sandoh.

Benjamin Lawer will serve his prison term in extremely difficult work.

Mr Lawer confessed to the charge, which is in opposition to segment 69 of the criminal offenses Act 1960(29/60) and was sentenced on his supplication.

The investigator, Inspector Samuel Owusu told the court managed by his Honor Abubakari Adams that, both the convict and the complainant were ranchers at Onyinafonso.

As per him, the convict had on a few events took steps to kill the complainant.

The convict, the examiner expressed did the danger when on July 11 at 7:30 pm while the complainant was resting in his passage in the wake of going to a burial service, cut his head and hand with a blade prior to darting.

The casualty who drained lavishly, was raced to the Asamankese government emergency clinic after he yelled for help.

The Prosecutor said while the casualty was at the medical clinic, the denounced was captured the next day, charged and summoned.
